George '49 & Barbara Cromwell Lower School

After developing a relationship and shared belief in the future of education with Mrs. Barbara Cromwell over several years, Severn received the largest gift in its history from Mrs. Cromwell. Her truly transformative gift honors both her husband George '49 and her own legacy as an educator with the naming of the George '49 & Barbara Cromwell Lower School and the Barbara Cromwell Library. Mrs. Cromwell also supported the George '49 & Barbara Cromwell Rotunda on the Teel campus previously.
