Partnership Program

Founded in the fall of 2019, the Partnership Program offers financial support to participating Upper School clubs, lessening the financial burden of club membership. This structured support empowers students to seek new experiences, develop valuable skills, and strive to make a difference while making meaningful connections with teachers, administrators, and donors. Middle School Author Series and Writers' Workshop

This initiative supports budding authors by sponsoring special guest visitors, writers' workshops, community coffee houses, and the student publication, The Admiral's Pen. These experiences give middle school students an authentic opportunity to confidently celebrate their literary voices and those of their peers. Past programs have included visits and workshops with award-winning authors Jason Reynolds and Taylor Mali.

Upper School Author Series

This is an intensive one-day program that features a writers’ workshop facilitated by a visiting Author-In-Residence. This experience gives our students focused instruction from an experienced writer to improve their understanding of language, hone their writing skill and technique, and further develop their creative voice.
