You'll Always Have a Home With Us

What makes Severn School such a special place? It's the lifelong relationships our students forge with each other and their mentors. At Alumni House, we offer a variety of ways for you to keep those relationships strong from networking events around the country to mentorship opportunities right here at home.

Don't Be Shy, Swing By!

Alumni House, formerly Boone House, is the original 1860 farmhouse and first home built in what would later become Severna Park. Located on Severn’s Teel Campus at 116 Maple Avenue, it has been home to decades of Severn School commencements. There are a lot of stories inside these walls! Our cozy house also provides a welcoming event space and offices for our alumni relations and development teams. Connect with Alumni Director Carrie MacVean Grimes '91 to visit and share your Severn story!
"Education and community building are two of my biggest passions. My work allows me to give back to the community that has given me so much. As a Severn parent, I love watching my kids, Kate ‘26, Campbell ‘22, and Whitney ‘24, build the same kinds of relationships that made me who I am today."
