Girls Tennis, Volleyball Teams Notch Conference Championships

The 2025 season marked the first-ever varsity season for volleyball, which competed as a club team in its inaugural season last fall. After going undefeated in conference play, the talented Admiral squad put an exclamation point on a stellar season with a three-set sweep of St. Timothy’s in the semifinals, followed by a 3-1 victory over Park School to earn the C-Conference Championship on October 26.

Girls tennis also went unbeaten in conference play this fall, before securing the C-Conference title in the final IAAM tournament. The Admirals made it to the finals in every spot, with the Doubles teams earning first-place finishes to propel the team to the championship. Lilly Buhl ’29 and Scarlett Devich ’29 competed in the #1 Doubles Team spot and Abby Cooke ’28 and Mayo Mabifa ’26 were the #2 Doubles Team. Cooke and Mabifa were unseeded going into the tournament, making their first-place finish even more impressive.
