Severn 12--Palotti 4
Severn ran it's winning streak to 10 games by defeating Palotti 12-4 in Laurel. Severn pounded out 11 hits and we're led by David Jaklitsch, Kyle Nicholas, jack Elstner and Christian Marciano who went a combined 9-15. Marciano led the Admirals with 3 hits while the others all contributed 2 apiece.
Jack Elstner earned the win going 6 tough innings surrendering 4 runs (1 earned) on 6 hits while striking out 7 and issuing 1 base on balls. Christian Marciano pitched a flawless 7th to finish the game.
Severn returns to action tomorrow night at the University of Maryland in a highly anticipated matchup against St. Mary's. Both teams enter the contest undefeated in conference play and lead their respective divisions. First pitch is at 7:00 pm.
