By Sea
Past Baltimore from the North: Go past the Patapsco River (Baltimore) heading South and make a Right at Gibson Island and the Magothy River.
Past Annapolis from the South:Go past the West River, South River and the Severn River (where expensive Annapolis is located!) and then past Whitehall Bay which is just to the inside of the large "Spyder" Buoy.
Go under the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and about 2 miles to the Left will be the entrance to the Magothy River.
Once in the Magothy River: Follow the Magothy River straight in toward the headwaters. We are located right at the end of the river before it branches into Cypress and Dividing Creeks.
If you are coming in at night, look for the large, square "Magothy Marina" sign at the end of "J" dock.
If you would like to anchor for the evening before entering Magothy Marina, there is a nice, quiet, deep water (8 feet) cove directly behind Magothy Marina on the western shore. We always have lots of docking space available either for your short or long term visits to the area. If you arrive before we open in the morning, just tie up at the east side of our main (Gas) dock.
