Lower School Student Council Lemonade Stand

Student Council will host a Yellow Day on Thursday May 9 to support their current service-learning project, California Community Foundation Wildfire Relief Fund. The members would like to support the people, animals and communities affected by the destructive California fires. For 15 years, the foundation has offered aid to those affected by wildfires. Grants have gone to rebuilding homes, providing financial and mental health assistance, and helping those affected to get medical treatment. For a donation of a dollar or more, Lower School students, staff and faculty members may enjoy a dress down day, a glass of refreshing lemonade, and receive a yellow bracelet. Students are encouraged to wear yellow. Student Council reps will be serving lemonade and giving out bracelets during lunch recess.
