LS Student Council Initiative for Lucky Dog; Dress Down Day on Friday 1/18

For our fall initiative, Student Council has voted to support Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, based out of Alexandria, VA.

Lucky Dog is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless, neglected, and abandoned animals and finding them loving forever homes. They also educate the community and all pet parents on responsible pet parenting. Lucky Dog envisions a world where all pets are spayed and neutered. Lucky Dog is also involved with rescuing animals during natural disasters such as Hurricane Florence. Student Council is asking for donations of both money and/or small pet supplies during the week of January 14-18, culminating with a Dress Down Day on Friday, January 18.

Donation items include:

leashes
harnesses
collars
small toys
small dog/cat treats
monetary donations
