CTP Testing for Grades 4 and 5

The Comprehensive Testing Program (CTP) test will be administered to fourth and fifth graders during the week of April 8.

What is CTP?
CTP is a rigorous assessment of higher-achieving students attending schools that aspire to higher standards. It covers reading, listening, vocabulary, writing, mathematics, and verbal and quantitative reasoning.

The data collected from CTP helps inform you and your child’s teachers and administrators about student performance in key areas of school achievement.

To help your child(ren) sail smoothly through the week, please:

make sure your child goes to bed on time so he/she will be well rested for testing
make sure your child has a nutritious breakfast and healthy snack each day
make sure your child is at school each morning by 8:00, as testing begins promptly at 8:30

We will have testing during the mornings, and special subject and other classes in the afternoons. There will be no homework during testing.
