Julie Savage Parekh '04

Julie Savage Parekh is the founder and creative director of Strawberry Milk Events, an award-winning luxury wedding planning and event design firm.  The firm credits a background in luxury hospitality, interior design, attention to detail and dedication to superior service for their success. They pride themselves on creating industry trends rather than following them.  This year, Strawberry Milk celebrates its 10th year curating magazine-worthy events for discerning clientele, including celebrities and Fortune 100 companies. Julie’s distinctive style and recognizable work has been featured in many publications such as Martha Stewart weddings (where she was also named a “Top planner in the U.S.”), Harper’s Bazaar, The Knot Magazine (who named her in their “100 most inspiring people" list), Fox News, People Magazine and Bravo. A graduate of American University, Julie makes her home in northern Virginia with her husband, and their two young children.
