Billy Delancey '02

Hometown: Washington, DC
Billy is the co-founder and CEO of Lobbyists 4 Good, the first ever crowdfunding platform that enables everyday citizens to hire lobbyists. Billy became passionate about government and policy during his time as a Peace Corps volunteer in the small island nation of Vanuatu. During his time abroad, he helped the government of Vanuatu implement important changes to their health care system that benefited the lives of thousands of people around the country. When he returned home, he wanted to continue impacting policy, so he found a job with the Department of Agriculture and later worked for an advocacy group in Washington, D.C. Billy believes that professional lobbyists are something everyday people need to have access to and he has been working to make that a reality through Lobbyists 4 Good. Their organization is rapidly growing, has had important legislative victories, and has been featured on VICE News Tonight, Politico, NewsGrowl, The Hill, and CQ Roll Call. Billy lives in D.C. with his wife Callie and daughter Ella.
