Upper School Field Trip to Renwick Gallery and Smithsonian American Art Museum
Upper School 3D art students (sculpture, ceramics, inddependet study) are going on a field trip to the Renwick Gallery and Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington DC. We will be leaving at 9:00am and returning by 2:30pm.
We are going to have tours of WONDER, which is a stellar exhibition of installations by 9 contemporary artists. (http://americanart.si.edu/exhibitions/archive/2015/wonder/) Then students will have time to explore the rest of the museum collection. Assembly dress is required, and bringing a lunch is recommended.
