Cyber Safety for Children and Teens

Sgt. Patrick McLaughlin with the Anne Arundel County Police Department, Child Abuse Unit, will be discussing Cyber Safety.  It is an amazing time for our digitally connected youth.  The Internet and a variety of digital devices can bring the world, with all its good, and not so good, right into the hands of our kids and teens.  We are concerned about inappropriate content, harassment, cyber bullying, threats and those who prey upon and attempt to lure children.  Information in the hands of involved parents is one of the greatest ways to combat these threats and protect kids and teens. This Internet Safety presentation will provide families with the information necessary to prevent their children from being victimized.  Sgt.
