Session 1 - Freshmen Course Sign-up Info Meeting for Parents of Current 8th Graders

This optional meeting is designed for current Severn 8th grade parents; its main focus will be to share and explain the nuts and bolts of the course sign up process for rising Severn 9th grade students. 

On Tuesday, April 19, current 8th grade students will meet during morning meeting with Ms. Lise Charlier, Director of Studies, for a session explaining the freshmen course registration process. At that time, Mrs. Charlier will also hand out relevant information and time-lines for signing-up for classes for next year.

Parents can review this information with their child and need to sign-off on the registration form.

Though all the relevant information for students and parents will be in the packet, parents who would also like to have an in-person explanation of the specifics of the process should plan to attend one of two optional sessions. For further explanation and clarification on the academic program in the Upper School in general, as well as the specifics of signing-up for 9th grade courses, Ms. Lise Charlier and Ms. Bea Fuller will lead info sessions on Thursday, April 21:

Thursday, April 21 - two identical sessions
