US Spanish student field trip
On Thursday, April 14, all students enrolled in Spanish IV Honors, AP Spanish and Ms. Berkowitz’s Conversation Class will be going on a field trip to Teatro Gala in Washington, DC, to watch the play Crónicas de una anunciada (Chronicle of a Death Foretold).
Immediately after the play, the students will journey to Los Hermanos, an authentic Dominican restaurant nearby, for lunch. Students are asked to bring $8 for lunch.

The play is an adaptation of Gabriel García Marquéz's novel read by these classes.
The play is presented in Spanish with English subtitles. It is a tightly woven tale of a small town in Colombia where false accusations, a conspiracy of silence, and antiquated moral codes lead to tragedy.
