AIMS College Fair & Financial Aid Seminar for Juniors and their Parents
Radisson Hotel North
Juniors and parents are invited to attend one of two sessions: 5:00-6:30p or 7:30-9:00p. Radisson Hotel North (2004 Greenspring Drive, Timonium).
Admission representatives from more than 250 colleges and universities will be at the 30th Annual AIMS College Fair Thursday, April 14 to meet with juniors and their parents (no freshmen or sophomores, please). This event is restricted to independent schools in the Baltimore-Annapolis area.
Also that evening: Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) panel discussion and Q&A: 6:30 – 7:30p.
Plan to visit 5 to 10 colleges at either the first session (5 – 6:30p) or the second session (7:30 – 9p). The event is closed from 6:30 to 7:30p so that admissions officers can have dinner with the college counselors.
When you arrive at the fair, look for Mr. Kaberline or Mr. Brunk so that they can give you a sheet of personalized labels containing all of the information that you will otherwise have to fill out by hand each time you visit a college’s table. This event represents a great opportunity for you to introduce yourself to the college representatives who will likely usher your application through the admission process. Just as some colleges will keep track of your visits to their campus, many will note your attendance at this fair and will use this information when you apply.
