Legacy Family Pancake Breakfast

For the second year in a row, we kicked off Alumni Weekend with a pancake breakfast to celebrate the multiple generations of Severn alumni.

Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Luncheon

Each year, the Severn School Alumni Association’s Athletic Hall of Fame committee, chaired by Stacey Hendricks Manis ’81, recognizes Severn alumni who have contributed to Severn’s athletic excellence as a player, coach and/or athletic director. We were proud to honor the 2018 inductees, Jamal Jones '05, Deon Peters '05, and Brian Phipps '06 during both the family luncheon and assembly with our Upper School students. Their acceptance speeches moved the crowd to tears.

Boys Varsity Lacrosse Game Against St. Mary's

Our Severn Admirals celebrated a 15-9 victory over longtime rival St. Mary’s on Alumni Weekend's sunny Friday afternoon. We shared a special moment during half-time to honor the players and coaches of our 1968 undefeated boys lacrosse team!

Saturday Shindig

Alumni friends, former faculty, students and friends of Severn gathered for lunch, live music, and family fun! Alumni were also treated to campus tours led by current Severn students.

Alumni Lacrosse Kids Clinic

The littlest members of our community got the chance to learn from the Severn lacrosse experts...our current students. They learned game fundamentals while having a ton of fun doing it — superstar Admiral athletes in the making!

Maroon and White Night

The weekend concluded with our alumni reunion dinner aptly named "Maroon and White Night." Our alumni reconnected with the spirit of Severn while enjoying local cuisine, an open bar, and live music.

We are who we are because of the spirit, camaraderie, and enthusiasm of our community. Thank you for your continued support of Severn School and every Admiral, past and present. Every moment we share writes another page in the Severn story. We are grateful to each and every one of you.
