The 6th Grade Intramural Sports and Physical Education program provides skill instruction and intramural competition in the following sports: soccer, volleyball, field hockey, flag football, basketball, lacrosse, and softball. Students will be introduced to floor hockey, futsal, tennis, ultimate frisbee, team handball, badminton, pickle ball, track and field, cricket, golf, archery, bowling and kickball.
Fitness principles and weight-room instruction is also included in the curriculum. In addition, the students with participate in our annual Hoops for Heart event on behalf of the American Heart Association.
7th and 8th graders will play interscholastic sports in the following seasons:
- Fall: soccer, football, field hockey, or cross country.
- Winter: basketball or wrestling.
- Spring: lacrosse, tennis, or track and field.
In addition to our interscholastic sports programs, we will offer skill instruction and intramural competition during the winter season through a sport rotation of floor hockey, basketball, team handball, badminton, pickle ball and a variety of fitness activities. Fitness principles and weight-room instruction is also included in the curriculum.
