Thanks for a Great Summer at Severn!

Our Summer at Severn camp season has officially come to a close. We had such a blast over the past six weeks! From Full STEM Ahead and Animal Planet adventures for our day campers on Chesapeake Campus to Survivor Teel Island complete with food challenges and obstacle courses, each day was filled to the brim with summertime fun. Weekly Themed Day Camps

Our week-long sessions (ages 3 1/2 through 5th grade) are made up of fun and educational activities centered on a different weekly theme:
  • On the Road Again!

  • Our Animal Planet
  • Admirals Art Studio
  • Full STEM Ahead
  • Score! Sports Galore!

Community Enrichment Camp

Campers spend their mornings exploring the many service related projects our community has to offer through a variety of off-campus opportunities including:
  • Interacting and socializing with animals from local rescue groups
  • Visiting residents at a nearby senior living facility
  • Learning CPR and fire safety from the professionals
  • Assembling backpacks for children in need of weekly food

Specialty Camps

Campers dive into specialty topics to create, collaborate and innovate their way to a fantastically fun camp experience.
Varying ages, grades 5 and up:
  • Art-ability 1
  • Art-ability 2
  • Chess Camp
  • Get Fired Up
  • Survivor: Teel Island (grade 6 and up)
Varying ages grades 1-5:
  • Clay All Day
  • Paint 'til You Faint
