Ms. Kelly Wilson, the Director of Innovative & Entrepreneurial Programs, is offering Severn Middle Schoolers a workshop to learn about Arduino technology - a fun and interactive way to learn about computer programming and circuitry. Using a small circuit board, some wires, LED lights and a computer, participants will be amazed at how fun it is to construct a working circuit.
In this 75 minute workshop, participants will have:
30 minutes of programming using Arduino’s programming language.
30 minutes of constructing your circuit board and LED light design.
15 minutes to play/modify/dream up new designs or future programming ideas.
The Arduino 101 Workshop will be held Thursday, December 10 from 2:45 to 4:00p in the Graw Innovation Center/RxNT Tech Center in Teel’s Lower Level. There is only room for 20 - students should register here. (Please note that December 10th is an early release day with no after school program.)
