  • US Unity Day (A Group)

    Unity Day Watch Party

2020 was a tumultuous year that told the story of a racial reckoning in this country and a re-awakening of the social justice movement. Leading the charge are the youth of this country. Inspired by this renewed desire to create a just world that promotes understanding among its citizens, this year’s Unity Day strives to lean into the difficult conversations that were pushed to the surface by last year’s social unrest. After a pandemic year that brought us together in novel ways, Unity Day will uniquely bring the Severn Community together by using films to spark conversations, deliver moving visual imagery, and importantly, leave us feeling inspired and hopeful about the promise of a future that promotes diversity, equity and inclusion.
