She and her husband, Dave McDermott '97 are the proud parents of Laine '25, Emily, and Mac. Jess is also the daughter of Bryson Popham '69. Alumni Director Carrie MacVean Grimes '91 recently caught up with Mark Mason '04. Mark is living in New York City, working for an early stage venture capital firm that invests in start-ups in the consumer space. If you have ever bought a custom frame from Framebridge, ordered a t-shirt off CustomInk, or eaten a KIND bar, you’ve bought from one of their companies! We asked him to describe Severn in one sentence and he replied, "Building lifelong friendships and the foundation for future learning."
Alumni Director Carrie MacVean Grimes ’91 had a great time catching up over coffee this spring in Palo Alto, California with Eric Hadhazy ’00. Eric is the Director for Critical Care Quality and Strategic Initiatives at Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto. He is also a certified search and rescue volunteer and provided critical support earlier this year in response to the recent devastating wildfires in Northern California.
