How To Apply

Each year we have more qualified applicants than spaces available. Our challenge is to identify the most capable and highly motivated students who will benefit from a Severn education and who will contribute positively to the life of the school, in keeping with our mission of striving for excellence in scholarship and character. Recognizing the benefits of learning from those around us, Severn School is committed to maintaining a diverse student body by actively seeking qualified candidates from a broad range of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.

The major entry points for new students entering Severn School are preschool for the Lower School, sixth grade for the Middle School, and ninth grade for the Upper School. Please see below for details according to grade level and forms.
