Open Doors After-School Session for grades 3-5

Open Doors is a program designed to engage kindergarten through fifth grade students in lessons, activities, and conversations that promote inclusivity. This program, taught by Renee Spears, encourages students to reflect upon and celebrate our differences and our similarities. Students enjoy time together to openly discuss their thoughts and feelings as well as listen to the thoughts and feelings of others.
 
School-day session: Friday, 1/20 (School-day sessions are conducted for all students in grades kindergarten through fifth)

I Am
Students will be able to discuss and accept differences in others' thinking and appearances.
 
 
After-school sessions: 1/24 & 1/25 (After-school sessions are optional and are at no additional cost - please register with Tara Johnson)
· K-2nd grade:. Tuesday, January 24 from 3:15 - 4:00p
· 3rd-5th grade: Wednesday, January 25 from 3:15 - 4:00p

I Am
Students will understand that they have attributes in common with classmates as well as characteristics unique to themselves.
