Maryland STEM Career Fair for US Girls

All Upper School girls are invited to attend the Maryland STEM Career Fair for Girls on Saturday, November 14, at The Bryn Mawr School. The primary goal of this free STEM outreach event is to enable girls to meet with and learn from women in diverse STEM careers.

Severn will provide transportation to and from the event. Those girls requesting transportation must complete this form.

One of the most important factors in girls maintaining interest in STEM is to see themselves in a STEM career later in life. Girls greatly benefit from meeting women who have successfully achieved the goals they are striving to reach. This event will allow our girls to interact with potential role models, and help them build confidence in their own abilities.

More than 30 different STEM organizations and businesses are hosting tables at the Fair this year, and over 200 women working in STEM fields are volunteering! This is an unrivaled opportunity for girls to meet with potential role models leading the way for the next generation of STEM women.
