US Portfolio Preparation Workshop

On Sunday, November 22, Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) is hosting a National Portfolio Day from 1:00 - 5:00p. National Portfolio Day is an event designed specifically for students interested in pursuing a visual arts education. Here they can have their portfolio reviewed by representatives from hundreds of colleges and universities from around the country and even some international schools. These reviews are an excellent opportunity to receive direct feedback and guidance from experienced professionals, as well as to gather information about various programs.

To help students prepare to share their portfolios, we encourage students to attend one of Ms. Kourtney Stone’s portfolio preparations workshops on Wednesday, November 11 or Thursday, November 12 from 2:45- 4:30p in the 3D Art Studio. Students are encouraged to bring their artwork to the workshop.
Ms. Kourtney Stone will organize carpools to MICA from Severn at noon on 11.22. She will meet students at MICA and help guide them through the event and around MICA’s campus.
