Revels: A Severn Musical Tradition

Everyone's invited to an evening of Upper School music performances in celebration of the holiday season. Concert Choir, Chamber Music Ensemble, Vocal Ensemble, and the Upper School Band will surely get you in the holiday mood! There will be refreshments during intermission in the McCleary Gallery. 

The Instrumental Ensemble performs high-energy selections from rock to swing to samba. The saxophone section is featured on a few arrangements from Duke Ellington and our trumpet, sax and guitar soloists’ improvisational skills will knock your socks off. 

The Vocal and Chamber Ensembles join forces with guest artists the Bay Strings to present Franz Schubert’s Mass in G for soloists, mixed chorus and string orchestra. The concert will close with a medley of holiday carols performed by Concert Choir, Vocal Ensemble, Bay Strings and the chamber musicians; the audience is invited to add their voices to the mix.
