Jack Carkhuff '10, Student Ambassador
Congrats to sophomore Jack Carkhuff who was accepted as a Student Ambassador in an international study and travel program this summer. He will be part of a People to People delegation to Greece, Italy and France. The group will visit historical sites, meet with dignitaries, perform a community service project, and immerse themselves in the culture.
President Dwight D. Eisenhower believed that ordinary citizens of different nations, if able to communicate directly, would solve their differences and find a way to live in peace. In 1956, he put those beliefs into action and created People to People Ambassador Programs. Jack is looking forward to visiting some of the sites he has learned about in Latin class.
